- Financial Assistance: Beneficiaries of this scheme receive a total of ₹50,000 in 5 years which is deposited in annual installments of ₹10,000 which are given at an interval of 6 months in a year .
- Digital Incentives: Under this 100 women who make the highest number of Digital transactions in their Gram Panchayat or Urban Local Body will be given an extra prize of Rs 500 annually under this scheme by the Odisha Government.
- Empowerment Through Identity: Beneficiaries are given a Subhadra debit card which is like an ATM cum debit card, promoting financial inclusion.
- Special Disbursement Dates: The 1st and 2nd instalments are paid on Raksha Purnima and International Women’s Day as a gesture of support and empowerment.
- Direct to Bank: Under this scheme, the money will be deposited directly in beneficiaries bank account so that there is no correction or mediation in between and there is transparency in this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria for Subhadra Yojana
To qualify for the Subhadra Yojana scheme, applicants must meet some following conditions:
- Residency: This scheme is only for women of Odisha. If you live in any other state and apply for this scheme then your application will be rejected.
- Economic Status: Must possess an NFSA/SFSS card or have a family income below ₹2.5 lakh annually.

Exclusions:
- Any woman who gets any pension or scholarship of more than ₹1500 per month or ₹18000 per year or more is under any State or Central Government scheme will not be eligible for this scheme.
- Apart from this, there are some other important conditions, if any of your family members fall in the below mentioned category then they will not be eligible for this scheme.
- Income Tax Payee
- Current or former MLA or MP
- Any elected public representative in Panchayet or urban local body. (Excluding ward member and Councillor)
- Anyone from your family employed as a regular or contractual employee in:
- State Government
- Government of India
- Public Sector Undertakings
- Boards or Local Bodies
- Government Organizations
- Anyone from your family receiving a pension after retirement.
- Elected, nominated, or appointed representatives in any Government Department or Organization.
- Anyone from your family owning a 4-wheeler motor vehicle (excluding tractors, mini-trucks, and light commercial vehicles), provided they meet other eligibility criteria.
- The family of the applicant owns more than 5 acres of irrigated land or 10 acres of non-irrigated land.
